OK, despite the fact that Kiev has been waging a genocide war in eastern Ukraine for weeks; bombing civilian areas...it looks like the rebels are winning, or at least holding fast.
It's apparent now that "sanctions" against Putin are having little effect. Putin's trump card is that he can shut off the gas supply to Eastern Europe. This will become a stronger option as we approach winter.
Kerry and Obama's posturing is becoming increasingly comedic. Nobody believes them!

when has the killing of innocent people ever concerned america (post WWII)? the only time it has, was when it affected the profits of corporations (panama = United Fruit Company present day Chiquita Brands International , Iraq, Iraq pt 2 = KBR, Haliburton and etc.) and Russia shutting off oil to Europe is bad for america how? could it be that Americas involvement (or lack there of) is just the marching orders coming from their sponsors?

Send John Kerry to Russia to negotiate peace since he has done so well in the mid east. He is such a joke, almost as dumb as his predecessor.

Send the diplomatic genius to Canada and see if he can strike up a peace deal with them.

I don't like the healthcare crap but I have to say I think Obama is doing a great job dealing with this whole Russia issue, he's for sure trying to resolve it without putting boots on the ground and sending us into unwanted war..I can't wait til next election, gosh I hope Hilary runs! Small step for man, huge jump for women! Anyway carry on.

Preliminary reports that the has been wounded; at least one other American soldier killed by a sniper.
This could be a game = changer?

source, and it better not be from a tabloid again

" top US pentagon general in Ukraine" lol what? was this an army general or an air force general? there is no such thing as top pentagon general. the only position i can figure out you are talking about is a chief of staff or Commander U.S. Army Forces Europe.

Game changer. No more Mr Nice Guy, Putin will be limited to 3 soft drinks per day for violating the pencil thin red line around the Ukraine.

Can't just exactly say he was handed a corrupt IRS like it is now. Or Putin was kept within his borders. We still had borders, our military was great, gas prices 1/2 what they are now, you could buy a pound of hamburger for under $2, We were not the laughing stock around the world, not the brunt of terrorist jokes and we did not give guns to drug cartels to kill our border agents. I could go on but I think you get the picture.

Been there and done that Pops.

I would not suggest Obama doing anything. He has no heart for America and all he could do would result in defeat. Just keep passing out candy bars and playing golf until someone else can be elected.

As easy as it is for people to come to America, you should not have much trouble leaving, it you have such a better place to go. Don't let the non-border gate hit you in the back. Just go demand that Russia give you food stamps, health care, housing , education and transportation.

Russia has every right to have interest as well as having working relationships with other countries especially those that border it. The US as influenced every country in Cental America and the island nations of adjacent to the US and the far reaching Pacific. If a country goes another way it automatically in the US policy eyes becomes an evil nation that need to be sanctioned

Not everybody wants to live like an American.

Sooo, your solution is to pass the buck to someone else.

Do you not have a solution of your own?
