People feel helpless and desperate. The political system is dominated by concentrated wealth and power and is completely unwilling to even marginally address the needs of the working population. Because of this, the democratic system is dominated by two parties which differ only on aesthetics while serving the same base of concentrated wealth.
This leaves a curious problem, to whatever degree they do differ, how can each party differentiate itself from the other? The result is theatrics, melo drama and fear mongering in political discourse. Each side must hate and blame the other to increasingly extreme degrees so the blame of the disasterous economic policy designed to serve the wealth of the nation can continue to be passed while its failures are blamed on the other side.
This results in an uncanny feeling surrounding political discourse. People are afraid. People are angry. Mob mentality kicks in and the population seeks something more like a war general than a community leader. The population is foaming at the mouth, salivatimg at the thought of someone taking down the establishment. Spite is the name of the game. they want bite.
Woman, naturally seen as more nurturing and caring is not fit for the hateful, spite fueled politics the population craves. Harris ran her campaign on community and love, Trump on spite and bite. The population craves annihalation, and surely they will find it.

Why do other countries have or have had women as the top person running the country but yet this country goes ape when it's even suggested. We have them as senators, in congress making laws and even running states but we can't have one running this country. Are we that scared of having a woman in charge or is it a macheesmo thing. Someone give me one good reason. Not a trump or republican type reason, but one that is proven and unbiased. They can run a company or college or a state and make laws but they can't be allowed to run this country. Tell me why.
