I think that prettty much takes care of the chicken. Now which came first? The chicken or the egg. On here it was the egg. Somebody else will need to work up the pig an the cow as I dont partake of much of them. I really havent acquired a taste for beef stew but some people love it an to each their own.

Take a whole chicken, skin the sucker and any of the parts you dont want. Cut up onions, carrots, celery, an any other veggies you would like. Put all of this in your pressure cooker with seasoning to your taste which is usually salt, but whatever you like to season with. Pressure that mess for approx 30 minutes an you will have enough vittles for Two for at least two days. The veggies are delicious. The chicken is also I prefer the breast an the wife likes the dark meat so it evens out.
all is healthy. Your welcome

She would pour cake mixture on top of pineapples, brown sugar, and butter.

Easy cake my mom made. Mix flour, water, lard, vanilla flavoring, 2 eggs, milk in bowl. We called it sweet bread. Sometimes she would put lots of butter and melt on stove top, added brown sugar, then layer pineapples on top, baked untill done, then flipped it. Yum,

One thing mother made sure of with us kids was that we learned to cook, which Im thankful for. Dad always kept a nanny goat for the milk which I couldnt drink. He said he learned in the marines that drinking goat milk prevented ulcers, whether it did or not I do not know. But one thing I do know is if he would have had to put up with Henry, Henry would have give his goat ulcers.

I do the same as smalltownman, but I don't bother to wrap it. I just break the skin in several places, then microwave for about 8 minutes... depending on the size.

After you take it out, though, let it sit for a few minutes because the internal heat will cause it to continue cooking for awhile.

I might try it in water, though. The logic makes sense... it will cut down the heat a little, and help keep moisture in the flesh...

I've not heard about the water, I just stab my tater in several places, wrap in wax paper, parchment paper or Saran (which ever I have on hand or am closest to at the time) and microwave for 7-8 minutes depending on the size of the tater.

Did any of you folks know that you can stab a baking potato all the way thru an put it in a micro wave bowl an fill it half full of water an stick it in your microwave for 15 mins an have the best potato you have ever eaten. Also works for sweet potato. Now it may take a few minutes longer if its a real big one but you can always check to see if its ready by simply sticking a fork in it.
